Role Summary 

The Lead Researcher will spearhead advanced AI research initiatives, driving innovation and contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies. This role involves leading research projects from conception to completion, mentoring junior researchers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical advancements into practical applications. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and conduct original research in AI, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision. 

  • Oversee research projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. 

  • Develop and implement novel algorithms and models for real-world applications. 

  • Stay current with advancements in AI and integrate emerging technologies into research. 

  • Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to apply research findings. 

  • Present research outcomes through reports, presentations, and publications in top-tier conferences. 

  • Guide and mentor junior researchers and interns on methodologies and project execution. 

  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards and responsible AI practices. 

Qualifications 

  • PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. 

  • Minimum 5+ years of research experience in AI or related domains. 

  • Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. 

  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). 

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java. 

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and big data technologies. 

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

  • Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with reinforcement learning, generative AI, or multimodal systems. 

  • Knowledge of AI ethics and regulatory compliance. 

  • Grant writing and securing research funding.
